With every metal-bodied smartphone being compared to the iPhone lineup from Apple, it is probably not surprising that the same thing is happening to the rumored HTC One A9.

In spite all the image leaks and rumours about HTC One A9, the actual specs of the new phone model is still a mystery as HTC hasn’t confirmed anything about those conflicting reports. The new leak that made the rounds on the Internet contains the clearest renders yet of the hotly awaited HTC handset. This is reportedly slated to be unwrapped later this year, alongside another rumored high-end HTC device. The images showed the following colours: Acid Gold, Opal Silver, Carbon Gray, Rose Gold, Deep Garnet and Cast Iron. In addition, the HTC One A9 is speculated to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 SoC. It will have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage plus a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. There also appears to be a button at the bottom which could be a fingerprint scanner. It’s expected to come with 13-megapixel rear camera with a BSI sensor and optical image stabilization, 4-megapixel front snapper, and a 2,150mAh battery.

It sounded like we were going to see an HTC phone at IFA this month, but it didn’t pan out; Blass says it’ll ship in November instead, making it a potentially popular holiday option.

HTC may officially announce One A9 during their September 29 event or it could be launched on October according to previous rumors, according to GSMArena.

In August, news about the HTC One A9 started circulating.
