As mentioned in previous reports, Google has partnered with two major tech firms to create its next Nexus models. We’ve heard this from other sources so it seems likely.

In terms of pricing, the new-generation Nexus 5 will reportedly be more expensive than the original Nexus 5, coming in at $399 for the 16GB version and $499 for the 32GB variant. Even though the LG handset can be seen sporting a rear panel in mint colour, speculations are claiming that it may be the white coloured variant that is showing green tint because of bad colour correction problem. The Huawei model should be called the 6P according to this new source. Google had shared that the focus with its Android 6.0 will be on app permissions, web experience, app links, mobile payments, fingerprint support as well as power and charging. This means the processor will no longer cause overheating problems for the handsets.

Android Authority revealed that the Nexus 5X or Nexus 5 (2015) by LG will be available in black and white.

The device will also pack 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Other features to expect from the LG 5X include front-facing speakers, a 13-megapixel rear shooter and a 4-megapixel front camera.

Like the Nexus 6 from Huawei, LG’s Nexus 5X will also feature the Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform. And now comes the news that while the devices will be launched on September 29, both the phone would be going-up for pre-order on October 13.

As rightly noted, if October 13 indeed happens to be the day the phones can be pre-ordered then the devices should be shipped within 1-3 weeks after the said date. However, since Google, LG or Huwaei has not yet issued official announcements regarding the upcoming devices, these details should only be considered as rumors.
