Trump expressed his happiness over Schwarzenegger succeeding him in a tweet, “Congrats to my friend @Schwarzenegger who is doing next season’s Celebrity Apprentice“.

The guy turned his body into a film career and took revenue from competitions to go into the California real estate back in the day when many were too skittish to try.

On “The Celebrity Apprentice“, contestants donate their winnings to charities – more than $15 million overall to date, according to the network. “He’ll be great & will raise lots of $ for charity”, Trump posted on Twitter, following NBC’s announcement. “Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr Trump”.

NBC also cancelled its airing of the Miss US pageant, an event, it jointly owned with Trump.

Trump was furious and threatened legal action against NBC.

“The Apprentice” franchise is among the most successful reality formats in TV history, where celebrity contestants work in teams, perform tasks, win challenges and hopefully end with a financially successful result for charity.
