Mason Noise impressed on the first show of 2015, managing to get new judge Rita Ora up and dancing, and Cheryl saying of his rendition of Justin Timberlake’s Senorita: “That’s how you do it, that’s what it’s about”. “But we’re going to support them whatever they do”.



Scores of anxious fans urged the skinny 32-year-old to eat more and claimed that she looks like she is “close to death”. The high-spirited duo are out to have fun on the show as well as provide shoulders for X Factor’s flops to cry on.

He said: “There’ll never be another One Direction and we shouldn’t think of it like that”.

There were shocks for the show’s new host Olly Murs, when his former bandmate Jon Goodey auditioned and struggled to find his rhythm.

Its primary objective is to provide Saturday night entertainment and those declining viewer figures will be far more of a pressing issue to Cowell and ITV than whoever they sign to Syco come December.
