Lenovo isn’t quoting specific battery life numbers, but the company claims that these tablets contain some of the largest batteries available in the tablet market. Manufacturers have presented customers with a rectangular chunk of plastics or metals of different thicknesses and dimensions, containing a glass or plastic fronted touchscreen. “We are giving them flexibility to access their on-demand content anytime and anywhere, without being tethered to their couch”, said Jeff Meredith, General Manager and Vice President, Tablet Business Unit, Lenovo. The speakers are located in the barrel, in a design that Lenovo calls a sound bar.

These tablets come with a rotating camera located on the barrel. Combine this with a built-in kickstand and the YOGA range is a somewhat quirky but respectable device for consuming media. Here, I’m taking a look at the 10-inch variant. There’s a 1.1 GHz, quad core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor backed up by 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of local storage under the skin. Customers can choose from either 16GB or 32GB of internal eMMC memory, however, a microSD slot allows you to expand storage by up to 128GB. Features include a 1280×800-pixel resolution display, front-facing stereo audio, 180-degree rotating camera, and built-in gesture control. The battery capacity is showing as 8,400 mAh with up to twenty hours of usage, which is a smaller capacity battery offering better uptime compared with the previous generation YOGA 2 10-inch tablet.

The Chinese manufacturer Lenovo took the wraps off three entertainment-centric Yoga Tab 3 tablets with Android on board.

For multitaskers who like to stay productive, Lenovo loaded up the Yoga Tab 3 Pro with a Smart Window 2.0 functionality so you can open multiple apps at the same time, each in their own window. To achieve even greater clarity and a louder output, the sound bar is also fitted with 4 front-facing speakers, which are fine-tuned with Wolfson Master Hi-Fi technology. There are also new 8-inch and 10-inch Yoga Tab 3 models, but they’ve been downgraded from last year’s devices. It is the first Android tablet to be optimised for Dolby Digital Plus, Lenovo said, which Netflix streams with its HD content, allowing multi-channel audio and surround sound on the streaming platform. If this wasn’t to taste it can be deactivated.

Global technology leader Lenovo (HKSE: 0992)(PINK SHEETS: LNVGY), today unveiled the latest evolution in mobile devices, the Lenovo PHAB Plus, a beautifully designed premium phablet, optimized for single-hand use. The 10-inch version will cost you $199 Dollars for the WiFi model, and $249 USD for the LTE model.
