Understandably, publisher Square Enix is ramping up the promotion of Rise of the Tomb Raider and today, a brand new trailer titled Descent into Legend has been shared. But is Lara truly a tomb raider at this point, or merely an adrenaline junkie? Tomb Raider’s multiplayer was the definition of tacked on.

Oh, and she’ll find plenty of time to fight bad guys, too.

Tomb Raider saw two movies starring Angeline Jolie in the role of the tomb-raiding female Indiana Jones-type adventuress Lara Croft in the early 2000s.

Even though 2013’s Tomb Raider reboot was released to great critical acclaim, the game was not without its detractors.

Lara Croft probably has some sort of death wish.

It depicts not just a bit of fresh footage from Rise of the Tomb Raider but also some of the new and returning mechanics, such as a new rope dart that allows Lara Croft to go over chasms or to remain in the trees.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released for the PC in the first quarter of 2016 after an exclusive release for the Xbox One and 360 on November 10. We caught a glimpse of one of them at around 1:12 in the trailer above.
