There are countless drawing and doodling apps available on the iOS App Store, with plenty of them offering features that go way beyond an average person’s requirements and aim directly at the professionals among us.

Paper also supports the ability to share your notes to PowerPoint, PDF, Keynote, and Dropbox, as well as various social networks.

You may have a checklist app for going to the grocery store, a notes app for writing down things to remember, and a camera roll that’s cluttered with screenshots of ideas.

Swipe to Style – what FiftyThree claimed is an “industry-first feature” – allows users to create bullet points, checklists and titles with a swipe to either the right or left.

The app’s grid view holds all your assets – such as text, photos and sketches – so you can view everything simultaneously and rearrange them however you want. It will feature the same familiar options we’ve come to know from previous version, along with a couple of improvements.

FiftyThree’s Paper – one of our most favorite and highly recommended iPad apps has made it way to the iPhone today. Ideas can also be organized into separate Spaces, which can then be named and assigned cover images; you can have as many Spaces as you wish on Paper v3.0. You can use it to make everything from lists – it’s great for this – to a visually rich presentation that includes charts and graphs. This most recent overhaul now manages clients with the capacity to catch notes, pictures, and representations without breaking a sweat on both the iPhone and iPad. Version 3.0, however, presents spaces as virtual stacks of paper.

Despite some minor annoyances, FiftyThree did an admirable job at cramming lots of functionality into the app, and came up with an interface that works well within the iPhone’s size limitations.

If you’re an existing Paper user, Paper 3.0 is a no-brainer upgrade.

Even without an official iPad stylus (until yesterday, that is), FiftyThree’s Paper for the iPad was one of the best apps out there for showing just how good Apple’s tablet was for creating handsome artwork, either with your finger or the company’s Pencil accessory.
