The Golden Valley company, which last week said it would partner with Minneapolis brewer Fulton Beer to launch a Wheaties-branded beer, will also help launch a Count Chocula-flavored beer from Colorado’s Black Bottle Brewery, the Coloradan reports. Children across the country wondered what happened to their Halloween-themed chocolate and marshmallow cereal.
General Mills will supply all the Count Chocula cereal the brewery needs. “They just sent us forty pounds of Count Chocula”, Black Bottle owner Sean Nook says about General Mills.
So this year, Fort Collins residents can eat their Count Chocula cereal and drink their Cerealiously beer right along with it.
It won’t be long before General Mills beloved Monster Cereals return to store shelves, and this year the Count, Boo, and Franken-Berry are getting seriously high-tech makeovers.
A beer brewed using a favorite kids cereal, that made an infamous debut around this time past year, will make a comeback later this month.
Now their beer will be on tap at their brewery starting August 25th.
Black Bottle has other brews in its Cerealiously series, including beers made from Lucky Charms (for St. Patrick’s Day), Cap’n Crunch and Golden Grahams.
