Bella Thorne Apologizes After the Twitterverse Slams Actress for Throwing

All’s fair in love and war… and social media. Following Bella’s TCAs Selection Movie Villain win for her role in The Duff, her boyfriend cosied as much as her within the press room at LA’s Galen Center to bid her a celebratory peck – much to the Disney show star’s delight.

That’s what Felix Kjellberg, aka PewDiePie – the most popular YouTube star on the Internet – is learning after Thorne flubbed his name at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards. “You know what? Be here if you want to hear the rest of your name”. After being accused of dissing the YouTube sensation while presenting the award for “Male Choice Web Star”, the Scream actress took to Twitter to clarify her statements, revealing that it was all “a joke”.

When she got up to PewDiePie’s name in the list of nominees, Bella attempted to make a joke about the hard pronunciation of the YouTuber’s last name. The redheaded actress couldn’t have looked happier about the PDA as she was seen grinning from ear-to-ear. She added, “We’ve agreed to not see other people and are taking things slowly so we can see where it goes over the next few months”.

Saying something along the lines of “you should be here if you want your name announced properly” caused a lot of hate for Bella from Felix’s devoted fans.

Who exactly is PewDiePie?

Yikes! Thorne clearly caught wind of the all the backlash on Twitter, and decided to respond to those who were bothered with an apology and clarification-it was part of the script!
