Two-year-old Donny Ro’Mello Romero was reported missing from an apartment on South Sheridan Boulevard Monday.

“The caller indicated that the child had been missing for about 10 minutes”, Davis said in a statement.

A Colorado man is facing a first-degree murder charge after police say a 2-year-old boy was found in a container with a cord wrapped around his neck.

According to Denver new sources, Lakewood Police have arrested Roman Paul Morales and charged him with first degree murder in the death of the Toddler.

The boy was unconscious and rushed to the hospital.

Police tried to resuscitate the child.

Morales is described as an acquaintance of the mother of the toddler, and was staying at her apartment with them. They took him into custody after hours of questioning. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital, KUSA reported.

Detectives were requesting a search warrant to continue their investigation of the apartment.

Lakewood Police say they received a call saying the boy had been missing shortly before noon on Monday.

No names have been released.
