Sadly the exciting news does come with a bit of an exception, and that’s the fact that other than the Rare Replay Collection, there were not other new releases this week meaning it had no real competition.

The Rare Replay epic era game apps series was also just started on Microsoft’s Xbox One. It entered at the #1 position, and it’s the first Xbox One exclusive to do so. They were usually well known for their personal religion standard game app “Battleloads”. The company has a storied and wonderful history, and games in the collection like Jet Force Gemini and Banjo-Kazooie prove that this studio knows how to build wonderful experiences. It’s also Rare’s first numero uno since Banjo-Kazooie on N64 way back in 1998, and in turn, their first since joining Microsoft. “The obvious one is the sunflower. I don’t think we’d do a game that people would want because they’d want the original Conker but again”, he explained. They’re obviously quite happy to relive the memories that the game’s originally offered upon their releases.
