Wrestling legend Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka is battling stomach cancer, as indicated by his wife Carole, who recently revealed that the 72-year-old star, who earned the nickname “Superfly” in the 1970s and 1980s, recently had surgery to remove a tumor.

Snuka was released from hospital on Friday – hours after his former ring rival “Rowdy” Roddy Piper died – and he is now in recovery.
