Boots has stated that it might cease requesting boarding passes whereas WH Smiths stated that it has reminded employees that there isn’t any obligation on clients to point out their boarding passes.
During H2, Travel continued to deliver a strong performance with good sales across all of the company’s core channels reflecting continued investment in our key business initiatives and growth in passenger numbers. “That is not to say that this will not become more of an issue but we feel that it is likely to be a very low single-digit millions type of issue at worst”.
