Reports surfaced earlier this month that Nicole Scherzinger and Ed Sheeran were “dating”.

The 37-year-old took to Instagram to post a video of herself lip syncing to Ed’s thinking out loud alongside a load of “heartbreak” inspired hashtags. The previous Pussycat Dolls show star, who is claimed to have broken up with Ed ’cause she is just too old for him, uploaded a clip to INSTAGRAM through which she is mouthing the words to the flame-haired show star’s hit Considering Out Loud.

While we’re still not sure if Nicole Scherzinger and Ed Sheeran actually dated, it is now insta-official that there is #NoMoreSheerzinger.

However, the so-called couple were believed to have “called time” on their fleeting romance at the end of last week due to their 13-year age gap. However, representatives for Ed and Nicole separately denied the rumors, saying that the two are only close friends to each other though they were often seen hanging out together or even showing sweet gestures to each other.

A source told The Mirror: “They were never serious and it’s now old news”.

The singer apparently couldn’t make it serious with the Pussycat Doll due to their age-gap [wenn].

He ordered them both Pizza Express and later introduced her to his parents and took her down to his local pub in Framlingham, Suffolk, where they were photographed enjoying gin and tonics and eating pork belly.
