Twelve minutes of gameplay footage from XCOM 2 has found its way online via publisher 2K’s Youtube channel, and you can have a look right here!

This time around, you’re headquartered in a reclaimed alien ship called the Avenger.

Here is a nice long video to get you primed too. As the video shows, you can decide what your headquarters researches and produces by choosing which projects you assign resources and manpower to. There’s also explanations of upgrade paths for equipment and abilities.

Unlike the last XCOM: Enemy Unknown that released on the 360, PS3 and PC, this one is only set for the PC.

I love the art direction for XCOM 2, it feels somewhat familiar while being alien and unique. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the game. Don’t worry, though, it’s massive and it looks like Firaxis has made a lot of improvements and changes to XCOM’s strategy layer.
