West Ham are attempting to clinch four new signings before the end of the transfer window and one of them is Chelsea’s outcast player Victor Moses.
The Nigerian winger has spent time at Liverpool and Stoke City since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Wigan in 2012. Now it seems as though the Nigeria worldwide will spend yet another year away on loan (West Ham are reported as the likely destination), but he’s not going to be entirely without reward – the Guardian have him as ready to sign a contract extension before he departs.
Moses looked set for a berth in the first team this season but following the arrival and subsequent impact of Pedro, Moses looked set for another period on the bench or another loan move despite the departure of Juan Cuadrado.
However, the Potters decided not to go ahead with a move for Moses, possibly because of his poor injury record having missed half the term.
According to Sky Sports, West Ham are on the verge of completing a loan deal for the Chelsea winger, and the deal is expected to be completed before Tuesday deadline.
Moses provides more attacking options for the former defender, who has had somewhat of an injury crisis in his attacking department recently.
