Vaping is 95% less harmful than smoking cigarettes, according to UK health

As it stands Global Positioning System and stop smoking services aren’t able to recommend use of e-cigarettes because they haven’t been approved for medicinal use, but it’s hoped that regulatory bodies will approve their use very soon.

Thus this E-Cigarettes have to be promoted and even suggested for the regular smokers to prevent them from Tobacco cigarettes which are harmful for health. The conclusion was that e-cigarettes are significantly less harmful to health than tobacco and have the potential to help smokers quit smoking. The study, which was commissioned by Public Health England, states that “vaping”, or the use of electronic cigarettes, has far lower health risks when compared to the usual tobacco cigarettes. E-cigarettes are also the most popular method and leading aid for nearly all smokers who are trying to quit smoking in both the UK and US.

It was also concluded that e-cigarettes do not act as a route into smoking for children or non-smokers.

A director at Public Health England said this misperception “may be keeping millions of smokers from quitting”.

“The overall evidence points to e-cigarettes actually helping people to give up smoking tobacco”. As per a recent study, it was shown that teenagers who tried e-cigarettes were more prone to take up smoking later in their lives in comparison t those who never tried the device. “With over 42 million Americans still smoking cigarettes, there is no excuse for major public health organizations to continue to propagandize against these lifesaving products”.

However, this is not the case, and they want to see smokers taking up the electronic devices to reduce the thousands of people dying from tobacco-related diseases every year.

University of Rochester tobacco researcher Deborah Ossip said because teens’ brains are still developing, they’re more sensitive to the effects of nicotine, and that using just a few e-cigarettes could make them vulnerable to using nicotine in other forms.

Public Health England (PHE) said much of the public wrongly believes that e-cigarettes carry health risks in the same way cigarettes do. Hajek said that the findings did not show vaping develops smoking, but those who were attracted to e-cigarettes were the same people are were already attracted to smoking.
