Samsung’s new flagship phone, the Galaxy Note 5 seems to have some serious design flaws. Thus, there are bigger chances of you inserting the stylus in a wrong way and breaking it because you won’t get to know about it.
The Stylus Pen’s constant width, that differs in design from the previous model, can make users insert the stylus upside down into the storage area causing problems, as per a statement from Samsung. However, the Note 5 feels like a whole new phone once you actually have it in your hand.
This is another one of those quandaries – looking at the list of features and specs alone, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ looks like the superior device in almost all ways.
If the device can’t tell whether or not the stylus is in the holder, the Air Command shortcut menu is considerably less useful.
The newly released Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has what appears to be a serious design flaw.
For example, with the Galaxy Note 4 if can slide the S Pen in the wrong way, it stops at a point where it no longer fits. There’s no need to resort to brute force to remove your S Pen – it is possible to get it out without breaking anything. Well, you can insert the S Pen into the Galaxy Note 5 any way you like, because Samsung have designed it that way.
Samsung contends that users must read the user manual supplied with the Note 5 to learn how to insert the stylus to avoid such situations. The irony of it all is that not many people, unless something is really wrong with them, aren’t going to insert the S-Pen the wrong way. The S Pen on the Galaxy Note 5, however, is uniform across the entire length, making backwards insertion by accident a greater possibility.
Here’s what happens: Whenever you want to eject the stylus, you press on it, and a little spring-loaded mechanism pops it out slightly, so you can pull it out the rest of the way.
