Time Warner Cable Inc (NYSE:TWC): 16 Brokerage firm Analysts have agreed with the mean estimate for the short term price target of $191.75 in Time Warner Cable Inc (NYSE:TWC).



Rob Marcus, TWC Chairman and CEO, said, today’s approval is an important milestone in our merger with Charter. Eight equities research analysts have rated the stock with a hold recommendation, twenty-three have given a buy recommendation and one has issued a strong buy recommendation on the company. presently has a consensus rating of Buy and an average target price of $93.16. Following the transaction, the chief financial officer now directly owns 15,696 shares in the company, valued at $2,978,786.88. The firm’s 50 day moving average price is $74.48 and its 200-day moving average price is $83.07. Charter will pay upwards of $55 billion in cash and stock.

The stockholders of both Charter Communications and have OK’d the $79 billion tie-up of the two cable companies, amid a broader wave of consolidation in the pay-TV biz.

Time Warner (NYSE:TWX) traded down 0.62% during trading on Tuesday, hitting $69.14. This represents a $3.00 annualized dividend and a dividend yield of 1.58%. Zacks upgraded shares of Time Warner Cable from a “sell” rating to a “hold” rating in a research note on Tuesday, July 21st. Credit Suisse assumed coverage on shares of Time Warner in a report on Wednesday, June 3rd.
