Toronto shooting victims identified

One man and one woman were killed. He was wearing a purple crewneck sweater and dark blue jeans.



The second death occurred in the hospital later that night. In a press conference, the authorities noted that event organizers did their best to control the crowd and the shooting occurred when the party was winding down. She was transported to hospital, where she later died. As the gunfire moved into the street, the woman was shot outside the club.

Police have not publicly identified the victims in this shooting, but have confirmed the deceased are in their 20s and 30s.

A shooting at an afterparty held by Drake has left two people dead and three wounded.

Drake’s OVO Fest has been marred by violence.

According to Toronto Police Superintendent Frank Bergen, the shootout occurred just before 3:30 a.m.at the official OVO Fest afterparty. Homicide detectives are reportedly carrying on the investigation with the police’s assistance.

Sloly said there was private security present inside the club as well. There are three different crime scenes as part of the incident, but whether shootings occurred at each isn’t clear.

It’s not yet known whether this was a targeted shooting, but Deputy Police Chief Peter Sloly said that there was “at least one completely innocent bystander in this”.

“Paramedics tell us that the scene is very very large and widespread”. “We have a brazen set of individuals who are willing to put lives at risk”.

On the other hand, Mayor John Tory mentioned in a statement that the he is “saddened and angered by these senseless shootings”.

He said his condolences were with the victims and the their families.
