“Andre Gray did well on his debut and he too will benefit from having time on the training ground with us”.

The loan capture of Liam Moore, should this pan out for Bristol City, will be something of a coup with Moore having played an important part in helping Leicester win promotion from the Championship two seasons ago.

“But the basics that we provide the team with is the tactical shape and the understanding of how they work as a unit, it kept us in the game and we nicked two very good set pieces against the feel of the game really”.

“It’s fair to say over a season they will, at some point, not necessarily fire as in millions of goals but they’re going to score”.

“We knew the market might take time for us to get in the players we wanted”.

“It’s the third time I’ve had to change a group since I’ve been here. The team is progressing and getting used to each other, with all the new faces”.

Andre Gray makes his debut for Burnley away to Bristol City following his club-record move from Brentford, while Sam Vokes also comes in for the Clarets. I thought the crowd were a little bit over the top but that can happen.

“We haven’t got the points we deserved from our opening games, in which the performances have been very good”.

“I thought they were excellent for the first half an hour and arguably should have been in front”.

On the rough ride he received from the home fans, he added: “There’s no big drama over it, but I thought it was a little bit harsh because players have to make decisions about their careers. That’s nothing against Bristol City who are a fine club”. I still think there are saves that could’ve been made as well.

Dyche is set to assess striker Lukas Jutkiewicz after the striker was injured soon after coming off the bench in the second half during the win at Ashton Gate, but carried on because Burnley had used all of their substitutions.

He said: “The Championship is a tough league and it’s hard to be fluid every well and win, so you have to find ways of doing your business and different ways to win”. Then they got a corner and we got out jumped at the corner.
