CBS and Stumptown Coffee Roasters are brewing a refreshing promotion for the launch of THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT: free customized, limited-edition bottles of “Col’Brew” Cold Brew Coffee.
Add that to the first week’s confirmed guests-running the gamut from George Clooney to Kendrick Lamar to Elon Musk-and you’ve got an already fascinating mix of stars and legitimately important people, all of whom we know Colbert can interview with aplomb.
Branded with an image of Stephen Colbert and tune-in information for his new show, the “Col’Brew” bottles will be distributed by street teams in New York City on September 8, the day THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT premieres.
The Dead Weather takes the “Colbert” stage on September 15.
On September 18, Christopher Wheeldon, Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope will appear in support of “An American in Paris“.
The next night, Colbert will talk to Kevin Spacey, Carol Burnett, comedians Abbi Jacobson and Illana Glazer, and Willie Nelson, who is also the musical performer that night.
On Thursday, September 17 actress Naomi Watts will be joined by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. The program received widespread critical acclaim and earned many accolades, including two Peabody Awards and 41 Emmy Award nominations, with two Emmy Award wins for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014.
