“I’m the commissioner; I can break the rules because you guys broke the rules before and I didn’t bust you enough”.
The story follows the violent intolerance emanating from South Park Elementary’s new principal as a result of the non-inclusive language preferred by the children and townspeople.
After some convincing from his friends, Cartman decides he will fight against the punishment like his “hero” Tom Brady. “I’m gonna say, ‘You’re not giving me four days of detention! No to hell with that, you’re giving me no days suspension”. Anyways, of course the episode will discuss what became known as “Deflate Gate” – Roger Goodell suspended Tom for four games for allegedly using under-inflated footballs in the AFC Championship Game. Brady appealed, and a federal judge overturned the decision on September 3.
The episode – titled “Stunning and Brave” – will “express the utmost respect” to Caitlyn Jenner, who will be the focus of the premiere, according to Comedy Central’s press release. In the teaser, Eric Cartman is faced with four days of detention at school, but vows to “Tom Brady this thing” and get it reversed.
Created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for Comedy Central, “South Park” is the third longest-running animated series in the United States behind “Arthur” and “The Simpsons”.
Other sports stars that the show has previously lambasted include Tiger Woods, Mark McGuire, Jay Cutler, Kobe Bryant, and many others.
It airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. Watch a preview here.
