Sony dates Paris Games Week PS4 press conference

Fans will of course be hoping to see another announcement-filled press conference from the event, but there are actually 2 other showings from SCE set to take place before that. With no major SCE conferences scheduled for H1 2016, the company is running out of chances to share its news.



However, there was method in Sony’s suggested madness; it is to host a media briefing and have a mighty presence at Paris Games Week in October instead.

Sony raised eyebrows when they announced their intention to skip this year’s Gamescom, but they haven’t ignored the European region altogether.

Their official announcement reads, “Today, we’re pleased to announce the games that will be part of Vote to Play – our special promotion that enables PlayStation Plus members to vote on one of three PlayStation 4 games for next month’s PS Plus game lineup”.

Xbox Head Phil Spencer has said on Twitter he really appreciates PlayStation Experience, the even born last year and confirmed for 2015 to be held in December in San Francisco. It’s nearly certain that Sony wants to get back on track. Similarly, gamers can expect to see more from Media Molecule’s unique title, Dreams.
