According to the Dawn, a high-level delegation will accompany Sharif to Kazakhstan capital Astana.

The Prime Minister said that MQM would benefit from the Karachi Operation as it is aimed at targeting criminal elements.

Sources said political leaders have contacted MQM Chief Alta Hussain and have urged him reinitiate the dialogues with the government and withdrew the resignations.

Sharif will hold meetings with President Nazarbayev and Prime Minister Karim Massimov and discuss bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and worldwide issues of mutual interest. Amir of JUI-F Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, MNA, Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Minister for Housing and Works Akram Khan Durrani and Muhammad Ameer Zaman MNA attended the meeting on behalf of the government.

MQM negotiating team led by Farooq Sattar is likely to meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the issue of resignation of MQM parliamentarians.

“All the legitimate reservations of MQM will be addressed”, stressed PM Nawaz Sharif during his meeting with a deletion of MQM which called on him here today.

“The Karachi Operation will not just restore peace in megapolis, but it will have far-reaching effects on the entire country”, he asserted. MQM also announced to halt its parliamentary politics temporarily and shift focus on creation of new provinces and welfare activities.
