If your mobile device supports Qi wireless charging – as Samsung’s Galaxy S6, Google’s Nexus 6 or LG’s G3 do – you can simply place it on the monitor’s stand, and it will be automatically charged. The monitor’s charge pad can charge any mobile device that uses the Qi wireless charging standard, including Samsung’s Galaxy S6 flagship.
The monitor itself features reasonable specs outside of its wireless charging feature, with it available in both 23.6-inch and 27-inch size models, each with a full HD resolution of 1920×1080. For example, it uses AMD’s FreeSync technology so that it refreshes at the same rate as the computer’s graphics card (provided it’s also AMD) for a smoother, more immersive gaming experience. The company also did not reveal the monitor’s retail price or its regional availability. It’s not too shabby, either. Today, Samsung has announced the SE370, the world’s first monitor with wireless charging capabilities.
Samsung Electronics on July 27 introduced the SE370, the industry’s first monitor with an integrated wireless charging function for mobile devices.
‘Technology should support, not interfere with, active lifestyles. It has a 178-degree viewing angle, and a brightness of upto 300 cd/m2 with 1000:1 contrast ratio. By getting rid of wire clutters on desks, Samsung’s computer monitors are helping consumers use their mobile devices in a smarter way. Here’s one more: wireless charging. It is packed with next-gen tech like the eye-saver mode which reduces strain on the eyes because of blue light by implementing suitable environmental settings.
