Evan Blass, a serial leakster, took to Twitter to share the picture of what may Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5 look like, with the latter photographed having its stylus pen displayed on the side. Can this display hold against the onslaught of the Xiaomi Michigan Note Pro, which is more than just a wannabe phablet?
Talking to reporters after launching Galaxy A8, the newest members of Galaxy A family, Samsung India’s vice president, marketing, IT and mobile, Asim Warsi said they have strengthened their market leadership in all the segments, thanks to the series of launches this year. The lack of microSD card slot is bother a few power users though. When Samsung introduced the feature in the curved Galaxy S6, it was done with the goal of providing color-coded contacts that would light up various colors when the phone is turned on its face.
Pics aren’t all that was leaked either, with the specs of the Galaxy Note 5 also getting an airing courtesy of Blass. Apparently the shift in production is meant to meet Apple’s expected shipments of iPhones, which is made more evident by Samsung’s reluctance to explicitly state why they are shifting production in such a drastic manner so far in the year.
The Note 4’s battery life isn’t a bad starting point, either: you can eke out two days of use with some care. And fast charging and wireless charging are always there to help. The screen will be Super AMOLED, as usual, and is likely to be the same size as the Note 4’s 5.7-inch screen. The alleged tech spec reads as follows – we have a 5.66-inch, 2560 x 1440 display, driven by an octa-core Exynos 7420 backed with 4GB of RAM, a beefy affair indeed. There is also speculation about the handset that will succeed the Galaxy Note Edge. Are you pleased with the device, or displeased?
That would be a major departure from tradition: previous Notes have rocked a faux leather back as part of Sammy’s longstanding plot to get you to trade your Moleskin for a Note. Do your thing in the comments.
