The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ are now the most expensive Android smartphones on the market, but if you want the absolute best display on your smartphone then it may just be worth the extra cost. The company has not launched the Galaxy Note 5 at the same event.
As for the Galaxy S6 edge Plus, the study admits that it’s still a very good display.
Users can access their apps by just swiping the edge display.
Samsung’s release of the new devices could help in its struggles against increased competition from Apple Inc. and Chinese rivals. The devices also have wireless charging capabilities.
As it stands right now, only rumors have tried to confirm what the Gear S2 packs under the hood, including a dual-core Exynos 3472 processor, 768MB of RAM, and 4GB of built-in storage.
Besides the features mentioned above, the S6 Edge+ and S6 Edge have pretty much similar specs and features, as detailed below.
But Soneira notes that it’s time for Samsung and others to focus more on improving real-world display performance in ambient light, given they’ve maxed out the number of pixels per inch needed in a smartphone display. It also has a fingerprint scanner.
The company is now hoping to build on that momentum with the S6 edge+. But you were always paying the full amount of your phones, even when you bought a “subsidized phone“.
I haven’t had the express need to use the Note 5’s stylus and its accompanying features, like Action Memo, Smart Select, Screen Write, and S Note, but Galaxy Note fans will be happy that they’re there. The handset will be available for sale starting August 28th.
Two variants of the new phone were announced upon its initial launch; but as of now, only the 32 GB version has been made officially available, with the 64 GB edition of the phone expected to come out later on.
There’s no word about the price of the 64GB version, but we’ll update you as soon as we hear anything.
