The $3.99 DLC will feature Scarab and Zippy from Rocket League’s predecessor, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.

Revenge of the Battle-Cars will also include 12 new decals-six for each car-and a bunch of new paint types, wheels, rocket boosts, toppers, and antennas (antennae?). There will also be more country and community flags to choose from in this free update.

Previously, Psyonix boss Dave Hagewood announced last month that Rocket-league will receive several new “crazy different maps” in the upcoming months.

This leads us to today’s announcement of the next paid DLC pack for Rocket League, titled “Revenge of the Battle-Cars”.

Even players who don’t decide to purchase the new “Rocket League” content pack will have more reasons to keep playing the game this fall with the addition of two free arenas to battle in. The arcade-style, soccer-simulating and car-bashing game has been the true wonder release of the summer, reaching 1 million units sold on Steam alone this August, and bringing forth an entirely new scene of possibilities, including a potential place in eSports professional gaming league. It includes two new cars and a number of items – but will it be worth buying?
