FOX 31 in Denver reports this is the second time the Foo Fighters have had fun with protesters from Westboro Baptist Church while playing in Kansas City, as they played another impromptu show in 2011.

All tickets initially made available for the first concert were sold on the day of the initial sale a few weeks ago, but the band have announced further tickets have been made available after the band finalised details of their production.

Sonic HIghways is up for Outstanding Informational Series or Special, up against Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown, Inside The Actors Studio, StarTalk With Neil deGrasse Tyson and Vice.

“I can’t even fathom being nominated in a category with such heavyweights”, he said. Dave Grohl and the rest of the band are seen jamming to the song in the truck’s bed, surrounded by fans. Do I stop using it when I can just stand there? It might… seem hard to imagine, but in rooms like that, I kind of clam up…

“It’s just going to be such a insane night, I just can’t imagine”.

And of course the term “Foo Fighter” was originally used as a tag for late and post World War II UFO’s, revealing that Dave Grohl, along with being a Rock Legend, having a keen eye for fantastic drummers like Taylor Hawkins, and being a UFO enthusiast, also knows a thing or two about history.
