The registration for the beta closes on September 25 and it will not be offered on Windows PC – XBOX One and Playstation 4 players will be the only ones allowed to take part in this beta. We’d guess early October, given the game’s release the first week of November. Simply sign in with your EA account, select your platform of choice, agree to the beta agreement, and click the Sign Up button. You’re not forever alone. If you have an EA/Origin account tied to your Xbox or PlayStation account, you can hit the link and add your name to the pile.
EA is now inviting Need for Speed fans to register on its official website for a chance to get into the closed beta for the latest iteration in the series. In some segments the game nearly looks just like real life, which is a testament to DICE’s engineering prowess and Ghost Games’ ability to utilize artists who can tap into and make the most out of the engine. It’s an open-world game set in a nocturnal city, similar to the Need for Speed Underground games, and features “five ways to play”: Speed, Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw.
