Reality show star Loredana Nesci found slain in Redondo Beach home, boyfriend

Loredana Nesci, 47, a former police officer and lawyer who was the star of the Sundance Channel show Loredana, Esq, was found dead early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of Nelson Avenue sometime after 7:20 a.m. following a call from “a distraught male” who indicated he was arguing with his live-in girlfriend, according to Redondo Beach Police Sgt. Robert Reagan, her partner and father of the couple’s five-year-old child, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with murder.

When police arrived, they found 47-year-old Loredana Nesci dead inside the home, Saucedo said.

Nesci’s reality series, “Loredana, Esq.”, premiered on the SundanceTV channel in March 2014 with six hourlong episodes documenting her home life and career as an attorney in Redondo Beach’s Riviera Village. Loredana Nesci moved out to California in the late 1990s, and became an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. Police said that Rocco is at the home of a friend or a relative, but have not yet established whether or not he was in the home at the time of the alleged murder, Saucedo said.

Her career with the LAPD was brief.

Neighbors have remarked that they have not seen anything recently to suspect that there had been any tension at the residence between the couple recently.

Her television persona is a sexy, tough-as-nails defense attorney representing clients that include a medical marijuana growing operation and a nudist couple who wanted to get married naked in front of Los Angeles City Hall. “(Reagan) was always very combative with a (next-door) neighbor but not with us, since we lived up the street. I never heard any arguments.

Loredana Nesci is shown in a photo posted to her website. “He’s at home all the time, always working on the house”. She later joined two Connecticut practices, Spinella & Associates and Cadden, Ivers & Ivers, and was dubbed “The Legal Diva” by the Connecticut Law Tribune, a name that stuck when she moved back to California in 2004.
