Thom Yorke has separated from his longtime girlfriend, Rachel Owens, after 23 years together.

Thom, now 46, met Rachel while the two were at university in Exeter in their native UK.

The rocker confirmed the rumor of a split in a statement released on Saturday (Aug15).

Yorke said: ‘Rachel and I have separated. After 23 highly creative and pleased years, for various reasons we have gone our separate ways.

Radiohead recently announced that they are working on their ninth studio album. Getty York insisted the split was “perfectly amicable” “It is completely amicable & has-been frequent knowledge for a while”. “It’s too involved. We’re kind of limiting ourselves; working on limits”.
