The star wrote that the jumper had been given to her mum at one of her shows, and depicts a polaroid of the star herself, wearing what looks like an equally incredible kitted jumper. And it’s not just any sweater.

When a devoted Swiftie knitted Tay a sweater with a photo of her 1989 Polaroid on it, the singer did exactly what we would expect her to do – wear it! (So meta!) “It has very quickly become my everything”.

It was a rather appropriate choice to feature that particular Polaroid of the superstar on the sweater, because the very same image also appears in the liner notes of her latest album, 1989, which she is now on tour on to support.

Not surprisingly, a number of people in the post’s comments are claiming responsibility for the thoughtful present, but it doesn’t seem the actual knitter’s identity has been confirmed yet. She one made close pal Ed Sheeran needlework that showed off their friendship and mutual love of Drake.

Obviously impressed by the fan’s handiwork, Taylor’s mum gave it to her after the show – you know what mums are like with jumpers…
