Pandora’s Tower coming to Wii U eShop tomorrow

The Wii exclusive hit action JRPG, Pandora’s Tower, will be launching on the eShop for Wii U in North America on Thursday, August 13. Pandora’s Tower finally came out in the Americas the following year, in 2013, as a joint localization between Nintendo and XSEED Games. Between trips to Pandora’s Tower itself, players can strengthen the main character’s relationship with the cursed woman, changing the way gameplay progresses and shaping one of multiple endings. All three games eventually saw release in North America after a sustained effort from Operation Rainfall.

Pandora’s Tower is a Wii game that many might have missed the first time around.

The rest of the top ten includes: Splatoon, Rhythm Heaven: The Best+, Luminous Arc: Infinity, Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition, Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright / Conquest, Mario Kart 8, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and IA/VT: Colorful.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service that features a wide variety of content, including new and classic games, applications and demos.

Unseen 64’s Tamaki (via Nintendo Life) has gleaned that the concept had been targeted for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, however the trail turned cold after they had presented their idea to Nintendo – most likely suggesting that their efforts weren’t successful.

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems.
