Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is Announced

We can’t fault anything that adds more content to Ori and the Blind Forest, so we’re happy to report that an expansion pack for the game is now in development. Sure, it wasn’t ideal, but the fact I’m still listening to the soundtrack says quite a bit.

Microsoft’s Larry Hryb, better known as Major Nelson, announced on Twitter that the expansion content is coming to Windows 10 and Xbox One “later this year”.

While details are scarce at the moment, the studio revealed on Xbox Daily: Live the Definitive Edition will be “the ultimate version of Ori”.

The studio promises new areas, with new exciting artwork and gameplay mechanics – and potentially new abilities.

Mike Boccher Just a guy lucky enough to talk about games with you fine people. Wow, what more could players want? Then again, the game was such a great experience, I probably wouldn’t mind throwing some extra money at the studio behind it.
