Police say the shooting happened after police were called to a home to investigate a potential crime. “She picked up the phone and noticed on the cell phone screen that the phone was on record”, the affidavit read.
According to the arrest affidavit, the victim told officers that she was getting ready for work when she heard an alarm go off in the bathroom. As she was approaching the bathroom, Williams was just coming out of the room.
After removing the phone from the vent, the victim told police she placed it on the kitchen counter, so that Williams would see it and know that she knew what he had done.
The woman and her step-father later approached Williams about the phone and say he admitted to setting the phone up and denied having video of the children. He turned his phone over to them while he was being confronted, but all of the videos on his phone had been deleted. The woman told police she lives in a home in the 9500 block of Lake Hickory Drive with Williams and his wife. Officers found Williams, who fit the attacker’s description, hiding under a bed in one of the bedrooms of the house and armed with a knife.
The case remains under investigation.
