John Kasich continues to make inroads with Republican establishment leaders in the South as he announced his Georgia leadership team, led by Senate Majority Leader Bill Cowsert, R-Athens.
It is scheduled as the fourth state to vote for presidential candidates in 2016, and the first in the western United States.
That forum at Morningside is set to start at 10 AM, at the UPS Auditorium.
“You are talking about someone who has been in politics for a very long time, has faced very hard elections in a swing state like Ohio, faced a couple elections to become governor and won a pretty convincing re-election”, said David.
Millar added: “Having spent nearly 18 years on the Home Armed Providers Committee, John Kasich has a depth of overseas coverage expertise and understanding that can’t be matched”.
Kasich said in a statement released by the sponsoring group that he will discuss his plans to “hit the ground running on Day One as commander in chief”.
