There are a staggering amount of changes to read through too, adding much more to the game than the already documented Freemode Events and Rockstar Editor for consoles that you already know about.

Furthermore, Ross explains that the Freemode challenges will not cost you a single dollar to participate, as Rockstar has not announced any purchasable game content or participation fees (in-game currency) for this update.

That being said, only the Xbox One, Windows and PS4 versions of the game are getting the Freemode Update today. That’s understandable, those consoles are roughly 10 years old now.

There are 12 new events that’ll happen dynamically in GTA Online after the Freemode Update is installed. Are you happy with all of the extra changes and bug fixes or not? Freemode Events are essentially live events which any player in Free Mode can take part in.

But before gamers jump at the chance to download this new update, Rockstar has stated that the new upgrade will only be available for PC, Xbox One and PS4 gamers.

Rockstar Editor allows players to use special camera modes, as well as effects like depth of field and filters. One of these obviously has to do with the first person mode. We can’t wait for console players to be unleashed upon the Rockstar Editor, and see what they are capable of.
