According to Nintendo, some of the new amiibos will begin hitting stores next month.
“Amiibo” fans can also look forward to Nintendo’s upcoming September release of new characters.
Mario Kart 8 is now available in all regions exclusively on Wii U. The two DLC packs are also available for purchase right now on the Wii U eShop in all regions.
Mewtwo is the first among the characters in the “Super Smash Bros“. The Ryu and Lucas DLC characters for Super Smash Bros 4 are next in line to be launched, although Nintendo did not specify a release date for the two figurines.
A few weeks back at E3, Nintendo announced that Mii Fighters figures from Super Smash Bros would be released next month. All three are well-matched with “Super Smash Bros.” and will only be sold as a bundle.
On September 11, the following “Super Smash Bros.” characters will be joining the roll of North American Amiibo group: Bowser Jr. with Koopa Clown auto, Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, Olimar and Zero Suit Samus (an exceptional Mario figure created for the 30th anniversary of “Super Mario Bros.”), and the 8-bit Mario in limited edition along with the launch of “Super Mario Maker”. The consumer electronics firm has been teasing about Mewtwo amiibo for some time, and during the San Diego Comic-Con, the figurine was displayed without a lot of word on it, until its Twitter announcement, which finally put the silence surrounding it.
The GamePad was intended to be Nintendo’s point of distinction from the console’s 2011 reveal.
In a recent interview with Examiner, Nintendo of America Vice President Scott Moffit talked for a while about the Wii U Gamepad, talking about how developers are really starting to make great use of it and stating that it was the only real innovation to come out of this generation.
When you include Nintendo software sales, though, the numbers flip, thanks to the original Wii’s runaway success and the Wii U’s disappointing performance.
