A new Apple TV didn’t show up.
However, Buzzfeed claims it will not debut with a live streaming TV service as previously rumoured. This new TV will make changes to the devices like improved remote along with touch pad, App Store and voice control with the Siri.
However, rumors keep surfacing that Apple has a device in the works and may release it before the end of the year or in 2016. Well, the next iteration of the Apple TV will support its own dedicated App Store. “There is also a reference to what could be Force Touch support, but we are less certain about that”. According to the source, the new iPhone will have a profile thicker by 2mm, a difference that will not be significantly noticeable to many users.
“The Cupertino, Calif., tech firm is making broadcast networks the centerpiece of its cable-killer TV app – and talks with all four networks are rapidly gaining momentum, reports the New York Post”. If one would observe, Apple usually comes out with an “S” (for Siri) version of the current iPhone model before releasing a totally updated version of the latest model, as in iPhone 5s and iPhone 6.
The news follows Apple’s partnership with HBO, announced at its Watch event earlier this year.
Usually Apple is giving developers several months lead time before releasing a new device.
Apple spent $4 billion to buy back 31.2 million shares during the June quarter and, in all has spent $90 billion since beginning it share repurchase program.

Sources at the time said the service would put together bundles of programming, rather than entire TV lineups.
