Mulan left to join Robin Hood’s (Sean Maguire) band of Merry Men after learning the love of her life, Princess Aurora (Sarah Bolger), was pregnant by Prince Philip (Julian Morris).

“Once Upon A Time” Season 5 draws near and the latest cast update to surprise and excite the fans was that of Jaime Chung reprising her role as Mulan.

At the time, Chung was busy with the short-lived NBC series, “Believe“.

Mulan and Aurora shippers, prepare yourselves for something big. “Are you kidding me?”

“I think she’s been able to develop a really deep relationship with both characters and I think ultimately her heart was with Aurora.”

Mulan was helping Aurora try to save Prince Phillip her one true love, but unbeknownst to the princess, Mulan has been harboring romantic feelings for her, which made the quest to save the prince much harder for the female warrior.

There are probably still some Once Upon a Time fans out there who are confused about Mulan’s sexuality, but Jamie Chung cleared things up during an interview with E! However, details regarding the character’s return are now being kept under wraps, so we’re not exactly sure yet how Mulan will play into Season 5’s overall story.

There are also hints that Captain Hook and Emma Swan might be in danger as teased by Entertainment Weekly.

However, the creator did not reveal Mulan’s role in the upcoming season or how she will be coming back to the show.

Other characters who will be making their debut are Princess Merida from fearless .

Back in the Enchanted Forest, Emma exhaust all efforts to resist succumbing to her dark side as she embark on a search for Merlin and hoping that he can help put an end to her transformation.
