All three games are real-time strategy titles where the player must use different colors and strengths of Pikmin as resources to solve various challenges. For instance, tapping a Donkey Kong figurine would convert the game’s main protagonist, Mario, into Donkey Kong. Some of them include the newer Amiibo figures and trading cards from Splatoon and Animal Corssing. Technologically, it’s a huge leap from the original “Super Mario” game released in 1985.
