The invitation read, “We have some exciting news to share about Windows 10 devices”. The list of gadgets is expected to include the company’s new Surface tablet, Lumia smartphones and a fitness tracker.

All eyes now on October 6th, when in addition to the Surface Pro 4, Microsoft’s also expected to launch a couple of other devices including the Lumia 950 flagship duo. Microsoft will likely highlight the Surface Pro 4 and premium Lumia devices codenamed Cityman and Talkman. The iPad Pro looks very much like Apple’s answer to Microsoft Corporation’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Surface Pro 3.

Microsoft has confirmed that what users are getting is a part of its automatic update program and all users who have opted for it from the control panel will receive it.

Despite the popularity of its Surface Pro 3 devices, the freedom that Microsoft is apparently granting device makers to so closely copy it points to Microsoft being genuinely more interested in adoption of its software and Windows operating platform than in generating hardware sales.

A little birdie told us that the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are going to be officially launched on October 10.

And of course, all three devices will run Windows 10 variants – Surface Pro 4 to run full-fledged Windows 10 while Lumia 950 and 950 XL will run Windows 10 Mobile. Its bigger cousin, the Lumia 950 XL, will reportedly feature a 5.7-inch QHD display and will be powered by QUALCOMM’s Snapdragon 810 chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM.

When will Windows 10 for Mobile release?

The API is compatible with Windows 8 and 10, and works on the desktop and for mobile.

Images and specifications of the Dell XPS 12 leaked over the weekend, with a German website showing a thin tablet with hinged stand and attachable keyboard.

The Windows 10 rollout has been crucial after Microsoft turned off its business customers with Windows 8.

The main issue here is that the behavior is inconsistent, especially if you don’t know about the limitation and wonder why you cannot launch another instance of an application on your Windows system that is already running.
