The new devices will be in stores on October 22. The Surface pro 4 and the iPad Pro are expected to be unveiled by the end of 2015, and more about them you’ll find out below.
Up until now, the Surface name has been used exclusively for Microsoft’s tablets. Hence, readers are required to wait patiently for Microsoft to release official information on the Surface Pro 4.
However, as Inquisitr noted, the Surface Pro 4 has the edge over Apple’s products this time around as it has already been seen as the leader in laptop-tablet hybrids. Tom Warren, senior editor for The Verge and founder of WinRumors, recently posted a number of intriguing tweets regarding the Surface Pro 4.
There are rumors that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 may finally launch on October 4, 2015. The device is expected to feature the new Broadwell processor with an internal storage capacity of either 64GB or 256GB.
According to the leaked Surface Mobile phone specs, the handset will sport a 5.5-inch panel with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 in 16:9.
As reported in Design & Trend, Warren mentioned in his tweet that the release would be this October. Warren hinted that the new device will not be featuring a Core M chip, but may showcase a Skylake CPU. He also said that Microsoft may not be releasing the new tablet with a USB Type-C port. Instead users will have to make do with USB 3.0 or USB 3.1.
It is also said that the Surface Pro 4 will be manufactured using Pegatron Technology, the body will be made of a magnesium-aluminum alloy, which will be very thin, and the camera module will be ordered from Newmax and Largan Precision.
Once released, the two models will come with a customized version of Microsoft OneNote, Business version of Skype and copy of Microsoft’s Office suite. Under the hood, an Intel Atom x3 64-bit processor will be running the show, and will be accompanied by up to 4GB of RAM. There may also be new accessories available, after Microsoft acquired N-Trig. The Microsoft Surface handset is reportedly in the prototype stage and is known as the “Juggernaut Alpha”. As always, in such cases, take everything with a grain of salt until official confirmation.
