Now we’re pleased to tell you that the Meizu MX5 India launch has given the confirmed price, and the best news is that it’s on sale from today. The brand launch was also used as a platform to launch their flagship phone, the Meizu MX5 which was released in China in June this year. The device measures 149.9mm x 74.7mm x 7.6mm in dimension and only weighs 149g, a bit heavier than its predecessor Meizu MX4. The device will draw its power from the octa-core MediaTek Helio MT6795T SoC clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with a 3GB of RAM. For selfies, it houses a 5 megapixels front shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Meizu MX5 is now available in India.
The phone uses a 3,150mAh battery and supports quick charging.
The flagship Meizu smartphone has a 5.5-inch super AMOLED 1080p screen which the brand claims can compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the iPhone 6. Here we shall discuss about Meizu MX5, which was launched at an event in New Delhi attended by media and fans of Meizu.
The MX5 is equipped with 20.7 megapixels rear camera with Sony IMX220 Exmor RS BSI sensor, f/2/2 aperture and 6 elements lens. The rear and front cameras of the device are of 13 MP and 5 MP, respectively. It comes preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop.
All in all, it sounds like a great phone, and as recently announced by Meizu they have established 40 service centres in 20 Indian cities and are also implementing a pick-up delivery service for repairs and such, so it seems to be covered in that base as well.
Meizu is really making a statement with the MX5 looking at the set of specifications and features it boasts, and its price tag as well. Laser autofocus is expected to be handy when it comes to focusing the subject in a jiffy.
Dual-SIM, with dual-standby and dual 4G: The primary 4G SIM enables high-speed Internet, while the second SIM supports 2G voice calls. “Guaranteed to make an impression, MX5 comes with an exquisite all-metal body, 12-gun 3D sand blasting & superb polish”, the company said today.
