Meek Mill Releases His First Diss Track At Drake, ‘Wanna Know’

One week after initially starting a beef with Drake, Meek Mill went from being a respected rapper on the come up to the laughingstock of the entire industry.

A track, which has since been dubbed “garbage” by shocked listeners. Eek. The album debuts on top of the Billboard 200, moving 215,000 copies in its opening week. In the track, Mill claims Drake not only doesn’t write his own lyrics but takes a note or two from Mill’s own playbook.

“I am not and never will be a “ghostwriter” for Drake”, he said in a letter on his Tumblr.

Drake implies other rappers are always trying to find an issue with him even when there’s nothing there. Shout out to Drake.

But despite all the great Clip Art skills, Meek’s effort just wasn’t enough for the masses.

Earlier today, we reported on Meek Mill’s lame response to Drake’s recent diss tracks. The songs they recorded together Moment 4 Life, Up All Night, Make Me Proud, you could swear they were an item right? In response to the heated online row between Drake and Meek, Samuels released a diss track, “Lifeline” charging Minaj of not writing her own lyrics, the same way her boyfriend accuses Drake.

The question by and large is whether it really took Meek 120 hours to write such a weak track. Drake’s main leverage here is your loving relationship with Nicki Minaj, a woman who’s much more powerful than you, which for ridiculous reasons is seen as a weakness.

So, what is Meek to do now that his water gun retaliation is being considered a Presidential failure?

“Charged Up” featured subtle jabs from Drake, but it wasn’t the knockout blow for the former Canadian television actor. This one is called “Back to Back Freestyle” and is an absolute monster.

“Back to Back” becomes such a Twitter phenomenon that even the social media managers of #brands got in on the action.

Things will go from bad to catastrophic if Meek Mill releases another diss song that’s lackluster. All we know for sure, though, is that the rap game has been changed forever.

City Councillor Norm Kelly is officially part of Drake’s crew.
