One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is facing fresh family drama after his estranged father was arrested on Tuesday and later placed on suicide watch in hospital. It is believed that he was trying to gas himself.

A friend of Troy told the publication that he is battling depression after his friends have said they don’t want anymore to do with him.

“It’s tragic. He’s lost all of his friends”.

Louis was five when his mum Johannah and Troy split and their relationship has been strained since.

The X Factor stars were due to perform for a HUGE Canadian crowd, as part of their On The Road Again tour and as usual, their fans were NOT at all quiet as they built up to the live show.

Louis’ father was found in a auto in Cantley Park, Doncaster at 6pm on Tuesday.

Police officers searched the vehicle and found an empty tin before asking Austin to take a sobriety test. The police decided to arrest him as he refused to take the test. At a police station in Doncaster, South Yorks, he tried to further harm himself. He was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after refusing to provide a breath test and has since been released on unconditional bail until 10 September.

News of Tomlinson’s impending fatherhood broke last month as it was revealed that he is expecting a baby with good friend Briana Jungwirth. I’ve missed out on Louis’s life and I’d like to make up for that.

Louis, who has amassed a multi-million pound fortune since being in One Direction, and Troy haven’t spoken since an angry phone call three years ago. While Troy is Louis’ biological father, the 23-year-old adopted the surname of his step-dad Mark Tomlinson when his mum remarried.
