I couldn’t thank you all ever enough and thank you Louis, Niall, Harry and Zayn for everything.
The “One Thing” hitmaker also thanked fans for enjoying their music and supporting the group. Insane! I remember the day we were out together like it was yesterday!
Tomlinson is expecting his first child with Briana Jungwirth, Payne has apparently gotten engaged to girlfriend Sophia Smith on July 18 and Styles is reportedly contemplating on going solo.
To recall, the entire Directioner fandom imploded back in March when Zayn decided to leave the group to live a “normal” life close to his family and girlfriend Perry Edwards.
Although Louis Tomlinson and his fellow One Direction band-mates have yet to come forward and address the news that Louis is becoming a father, that didn’t stop their mentor Simon Cowell from commenting on the situation. And while countless commemorative tweets from the members themselves were all very nice and appreciative (Harry even thanked their crew), all it did was remind us: There’d be no “thank you” tweet from Zayn this year.
Niall Horan popped in to commemorate the big day as well, tweeting: “Thank you so much for what you’ve done for us so far, what an incredible journey it’s been, wish we could thank you all. We wouldn’t be here without you”, he posted. Ironically, they failed but Cowell saw their potential as a boy band, People reported.
“In terms of the band, they’ve got enough hits now they can take a few time off and do a few other stuff they want to do”, he said. “It’s a fun job, but it’s absolutely their decision”, Simon continued.
“Defo does get emotional watching all these videos you guys have made for the 5 years!” You did this and we thank you for having us.
