Meester and her husband Adam Brody, 34, welcomed their first child last week.

Meester and Brody chose not to publicly acknowledge that they were expecting and have not revealed the baby’s gender or name, however. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony some three years after meeting on the set of their film The Oranges.

A source said at the time: ‘Leighton and Adam got married in Northern California by the ocean a couple of weeks ago. I like having a house.

But after numerous red carpet appearances together, the pair confirmed they were an item, going onto have a hush-hush wedding in February 2014.

But Meester’s priorities have shifted lately, she said in InStyle United Kingdom.

Although Adam once confessed his wife does the “heavy lifting” in a figurative sense. However, pictures of Leighton out and about in Los Angeles back in July showed her displaying a clear baby bump. “Literally, I do the heavy lifting”, Brody revealed about their home life during a Reddit AMA last August.

Leighton began dating former The O.C star Adam after she ended her relationship with her Remember the Daze co-star Aaron Himelstein in late 2012.
